The wait for the Pearland Costco location to open is almost over. The warehouse chain will host a VIP Party for the general public to come look at the building on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. While no merchandise will be for sale at that time, residents can look at the selection and preview the building.
The store will open for business the next day, Nov 12, at 8 a.m.
Residents who are interested in memberships may sign up at Costco’s temporary office, located in the Pearland Town Center next to Game Stop in Suite 1440, beginning on September 14.
“This will give the card holder a couple of months of membership that a person who signs up in-store won’t have,” Costco representative Alex Martinez said. “They can use the membership card in any other of our area stores until the Pearland location opens.”
The new 150,000 square foot store will be located at the northwest corner of Highway 288 and County Road 59.
Costco’s other Houston area locations include Sugar Land, located at 17520 Southwest Freeway and Houston, located at 3836 Richmond Ave.
