PRESS RELEASE
There’s no stopping the chicken finger takeover of Houston!
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Louisiana-based chain known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – recently broke ground on its second Pearland restaurant, at 1601 Broadway St., at the intersection of FM 518 and Dixie FM Road. It is scheduled to open in late October.
When it opens, the 2,700-square-foot restaurant will be the 19th Raising Cane’s in the Houston area and the 238th in the chain’s nationwide system. The company will be hiring 50-60 new crewmembers for the restaurant in the weeks ahead.
“We can’t get enough of Houston, and it’s nice to know Houstonians feel the same way about us,” said Ryan Pruitt, area director of operations for Raising Cane’s. “We’re excited about our continuing expansion in Pearland, where we already have one very popular restaurant on Broadway, and we’re looking forward to getting even more involved in the local community, supporting the schools and other organizations that help make this city such a great place to live, work, play and eat.”
Raising Cane’s is renowned for its fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 and named for his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane, the rapidly growing chain recently earned the distinction of being among the top four quick service restaurant chains in the nation for 2014, according to the authoritative Sandelman & Associates Quick-Track study, based on food quality, customer service, cleanliness and other important factors.
